| | I've been up awhile, occasionally checking on the weather. Then just I looked out into the rain/snow mix and saw that a big damn redbud tree in the front yard has been uprooted and now it's laying on its side.
Several years ago this tree got pushed over a bit, just enough to mess up the front walk which I had to fix (actually a friend fixed it) because the insurance company got on my case. From what it looks like 15 feet away, I think it missed the sidewalk or could be the rebar he put into the concrete might have saved the walk; it's hard to tell with the snow covering it.
Sigh. It's always SOMEthing. (pity party in progress)
